Posting YOUR Life Story is Fine But...
Our world revolves around social media websites and applications such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter. Posting, photo shopping, and tweeting seem to be the preferred methods of sharing our living our best life events. That may be fine when you are posting and tweeting about your personal life events, but those with you may not agree. For example, if you attend an event hosted by your employer or even a friend, those in attendance may not approve of being displayed or mentioned on social media. In this day and time, people are looking for any reason to sue.
Social Media has become the greatest tool by which to infringe on the rights of others while hiding one’s identity. Social Media misuse leads to:
Disclosure of personal information
Witness protection locations exposed via photos
Abused spouse location exposed via photos
With social media posts, it is better to ask for approval than forgiveness.
