Should you Offer an Incentive to Boost Event Attendance?

Event Planners employ all kinds of tactics to increase attendance at events, however, does offering an incentive boost event attendance. Continue reading to find out how incentive impact the overall attendance of events.

Incentives give more reason for potential attendees to want to participate in your event. Incentives are tangible (or intangible in some cases) rewards that provide that extra boost of motivation for attendees. It gives them more to look forward to than just a show.

Incentives can run the gambit from cool company swag to on-site perks. The more the attendees feel they will gain by attending your event, the more likely they WILL attend your event.

Gather all of your creative Event Planning skills and come up with an incentive plan that draws people by the masses. Tune into your demographics and/or client base to determine what the types of incentive to offer. Provide incentives that attendees will actually want and enjoy. Place yourself in their shoes and ask yourself, “What would motivate me to attend this event?”

The answer will lead you to more success events and better attendance numbers.
